Nutgrove is a member of the National Children’s Nurseries Association (NCNA), to whose standards we are committed.

Bright Horizons Nutgrove offers high-quality early care and education for babies and children aged from 3 months to 5 years in a warm and homely setting. Care is available on a full-time, part-time and sessional basis. The centre can accommodate a maximum of 38 children and this relatively small capacity creates the opportunity for smaller group sizes with few children per adult, ensuring your child receives warm, individualised care.

Children have access to 2 outdoor areas which extend their play and learning. The children’s meals are freshly prepared,cooked on the premises and are carefully planned to provide a nutritionally balanced diet throughout the week. We use no processed foods and no added salt or sugar in our meals, providing children with the healthiest start possible.

The centre is located in the Nutgrove Office Park, behind the Nutgrove fire station and opposite Nutgrove Shopping Centre.

At Bright Horizons children learn and grow through our unique curriculum for learning, "The World at Their Fingertips". Through "World" children are empowered to become confident, active lifelong learners, supported by a highly qualified, established and experienced staff team.

The Bright Horizons Centres are now introducing Aistear the Irish National Curriculum Framework. The framework is based on 12 broad principles, for babies and children aged from birth to 6 years, the observations conducted by the staff will link into the new framework. The staff will have continue to have training on Aistear.

The environments within the centre invite children to learn and to see a world of possibilities that are within their reach and our “Ready for School” programme helps children approach school with self help skills and confidence that will enable them to succeed.

Bright Horizons offer our “Growing Readers” programme as we realise the importance of Early Language Development for all our children.

ECCE Government Scheme
Nutgrove is registered for the Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme. It aims to provide subsided pre-school education to children aged between 3 years 3 months and 4 years 6 months on 1st September each year.
