The All Ireland of Excellence Award acknowledges NCNA/Early Years members who are providing excellent standards of care for children in Ireland. Holders of the award demonstrate a commitment to quality, and success in implementing and maintaining consistently high standards of excellence.

Bright Horizons East Point is a purpose built centre located on Dublin Bay with beautiful views of Clontarf. The centre has an abundance of natural light flowing into the rooms. The children enjoy lots of fun and exciting learning activities, including the use of two large gardens, assisted by an highly qualified and established staff team, many also hold a First Aid qualification. The centre offers high quality early care and education for babies and children aged from 3 months to 12 years. East Point offer full, part-time and sessional care along with after school and Out- of School Camps.

The centre collect children from the following schools:
Greenlanes – Seafield Road, Clontarf
St Columbas – North Strand Road
Belgrove Boys – Clontarf
Naoiscoil Ide – All Saints Drive, Raheny

The children’s meals are freshly prepared and cooked on the premises and are planned to provide a nutritionally balanced diet throughout the week

The centre is located in the East Point Business Campus. Turn into the campus off the Alfie Byrne road and drive to end of the road. Turn left then right, drive past the security hut, take a right after the security hut, and the centre is on the right hand side.

Enrichment Programmes

At Bright Horizons children learn and grow through our unique curriculum for learning,
"The World at Their Fingertips".

Through "World" children are empowered to become confident, active lifelong learners, supported by a well trained and experienced staff team.

The Bright Horizons Centres are now introducing Aistear the Irish National Curriculum Framework. The framework is based on 12 broad principles, for babies and children aged from birth to 6 years, the observations conducted by the staff will link into the new framework. The staff will continue to have training on Aistear.

The environments within the centre invite children to learn and to see a world of possibilities that are within their reach and our
"Ready for School"

programme helps children approach school with self help skills and confidence that will enable them to succeed.

Bright Horizons“Growing Readers” programme as we realise the importance of Early Language Development for all our children.

Stretch & Grow and Spanish classes for the pre-school children, music room for all age groups

East Point have a Parent Partnership Group who meet on a regular basis with the centre staff and the current parents in the group happily liaise with the new and prospective parents as required.

ECCE Government Scheme
Bright Horizons at East Point is registered for the Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme. It aims to provide free/subsided pre-school education to children aged between 3 years 3 months and 4 years 6 months on 1st September each year.
