Welcome to ... Bright Horizons Citywest

Citywest is a member of the National Children’s Nurseries Association (NCNA), to whose high standards we are committed, and we are currently awaiting confirmation of the NCNA All Ireland Centre of Excellence Award.

Bright Horizons Citywest is a purpose-built, state of the art child care centre in a beautiful park-like setting. The classrooms are spacious and bright, overlooking our large secure, enclosed garden, which is a natural environment with trees, a winding path, a herb garden and much more to encourage children’s exploration. Our centre boasts a piazza, which is a common play area for all children that includes an art studio, a piano and a beautiful discovery room to encourage scientific learning.

Citywest offers high quality early care and education for babies and children aged from 3 months to 5 years, offering full, part-time and sessional care. During the summer months we run a Summer Camp and accommodate children up to the age of 10.

The centre is located just off the Kingswood exit on the N7 and is on the outskirts of the Citywest Business Campus.

Bright Horizons has been consistently recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland for the last 3 years by the Great Place to Work Institute.

At Bright Horizons children learn and grow through our unique curriculum for learning, "The World at Their Fingertips". Through "World" children are empowered to become confident, active lifelong learners, supported by a well trained and experienced staff team.

The environments within the centre invite children to learn and to see a world of possibilities that are within their reach and our “Ready for School” programme helps children approach school with self help skills and confidence that will enable them to succeed.

Bright Horizons offer our “Growing Readers” programme as we realise the importance of Early Language Development for all our children.

The centre offer First Aid courses for parents at certain times of the year.

Citywest have a Parent Partnership Group who meet on a regular basis with the centre staff, encouraging participation and partnership. The group sponsors many events throughout the year including parent first aid classes, family events, and curriculum evenings to help parents support their child’s development. Parents in the group happily liaise with new and prospective parents as required.
