At Bright Horizons children learn and grow through our unique emergentcurriculum for learning in line with Aistear. Aistear is the National Curriculum Framework for children from birth tosix years in Ireland. Aistear defines thetype of learning that is important for Babies, Toddlers and Pre-schoolers, where children grow and develop as confident and competent learners throughfun, interesting and challenging experiences.
Our curriculum addresses children's development from the very firststages of babies grasping, tracking and learning to let go, to the first toyears of life spent in the creation of a child's first "sense ofself" following onto the pre-schooler persisting in independence andconfidence, developing the skills necessary for school. Our insightful and welltrained staff team are there every step of the way to scaffold each moment, identifying opportunities for learning right up through school age.
The environments within the centre invite children to learn and to see aworld of possibilities that are within their reach and our “Ready forSchool” programme helps children approach school with self help skillsand confidence that will enable them to succeed.
