Ashbourne is proud to be an NCNA All Ireland Centre of Excellence 2009-2012

The All Ireland of Excellence Award acknowledges NCNA/Early Years members who are providing excellent standards of care for children in Ireland. Holders of the award demonstrate a commitment to quality, and success in implementing and maintaining consistently high standards of excellence.

The Ashbourne Centre, opened in January 2007, is a fantastic purpose-built child care centre providing a warm, homely and stimulating environment, and offering high quality early care and education for babies and children aged from 3 months to 12 years. The secure, enclosed outdoor facilities include a flower and vegetable garden where children can grow their own produce, open space for fun and exploration with access to a climbing frame promoting gross motor skills, and a separate baby garden.

The friendly Ashbourne staff team is well qualified and highly experienced. They offer full-time care, with 2,3,or 4 full day options, also morning and afternoon sessions for pre-school children and also year round Out-of-School Camps.

The Ashbourne Centre is the first building on the left located just inside the entrance to the Rath Lodge housing estate at the north end of Ashbourne Village. It can also be easily accessed by taking the Rath Roundabout exit on the new N2 Motorway.

The environments within the centre invite children to learn and to see a world of possibilities that are within their reach and our “Ready for School” programme helps children approach school with self help skills and confidence that will enable them to succeed.

Bright Horizons offer our “Growing Readers” programme as we realise the importance of Early Language Development for all our children.
